It’s a really hard work, because I can’t get the information about the bus services in KuKa, in Oshima. Information on the Internet is not well arranged, but I’ve found it. I’ve already sent the addresses of your great grandparents to the City Hall Branch of Kuka and asked them about their current addresses and locations. Kuka is a very beautiful village but the population is so small and you’ll have inconvenient bus services, 3~4 times a day. The main focus of this sub-group right now is planning for the Japan 2017 trip in July.

The main focus of this sub-group right now is planning for the Japan 2017 trip in July. We make up a natural sub-group of the greater Japan 2017 travel group, and there are some important plans and decisions to be made. The most pressing is the Hiroshima section of the trip. As it stands now, we plan to go Tokyo to Hiroshima on SAT 8 JUL and stay there that night. That would give us 2 partial days there with train travel on both days. We were figuring on 1 family roots day initially, and a general Hiroshima day for the other day. Since then, we have some leads on our other family root, so we could do 2 family roots days. So we have to decide on 2 family roots days vs. 1 family + 1 Hiroshima day vs. 2 family roots + Hiroshima days (meaning 2 nights in that city). For further background, I'll copy some of the correspondence regarding the family roots here. Please look it over, and please comment.
